Warmer weather for the upcoming week as Summer goes out like a Champ on Friday!…..Record highs not expected to be broken over East Central California…..
Sunday September 18, 2011
An upper ridge will build strongly over the inter-mountain west bringing hot temps to California and Nevada for this time of the year Expect warm temps to the high country for the last week of Summer with a few isolated late afternoon summer showers. Daytime highs will peak in the mid to upper 70s in Mammoth this week…….bishop will be in the low 90s. Next change in the pattern will be some increase in ESE flow around an upper lover near California. Once again….some afternoon cloudiness next weekend with a slight chance of TSRWs.
By next Sunday, the current deepening low in the Gulf of AK will progress east as the southern portion of that trof splits and comes into California by Monday. Cooler temps and a slight chance of showers expected by the 26th/27th.
Enjoy the last week of Summer…..it will be a beauty!
