A beautiful dry week is shaping up with local temps 5 to 10 degrees above normal Tuesday and Wednesday. Next Friday could bring cooling and wind but the airmass seems dryer now through the weekend
Tuesday April 16, 2024
4/16 to the 21st.
The Storm system that came through the weekend is over the central mid west now, headed to the northern midwest.
Northerly upper flow will draw drier air into the region with any chances of showers decreasing to <10% across the region through the remainder of the week. Tuesday into Wednesday will cause much warmer temps with highs 60+ in Mammoth and low 80s in the Bishop area. A more westerly flow aloft will result over the Sierra into Western NV with continued dry conditions and afternoon westerly breezes resembling those of a summer afternoon Zephyer.
Next weekend looks warmer today than it did yesterday….
Enjoy the Spring…
