A shift in the pattern to a warmer one develops this week as a large scale ridge now out 1500mi shifts east into the state this weekend. However, this ridge is quite progressive, and well be well east of us into the Rockies by  Tuesday.  Expect highs well into thr 80s in Bishop and low 70s in Mammoth this weekend. By Tuesday, the weather will turn more seasonable for this time of the year with a chance of showers developing as early as Tuesday in the high country, into next week.

Daytime highs will peak out this weekend into early next week with mid 80s in Bishop and low 70s in Mammoth.

By Tuesday and Wednesday next week, highs will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler with showers and chilly night time lows.
