December is here and the weather will be pretty uneventful the next couple of weeks….Some periods of light rain and snow in town but not lots. This Wednesday into Thursday looks like the best chance before drier conditions weeks end.

We all have a pretty good week setting up. Our weekend will be dry with no major wind. Then next week gets cooler and breezy with a few areas getting a few showers toward mid week, When we get toward the end of the week next week, the weather beginnings to look dicey, There is an upper low that forms off shore, just prior to the end of the week that may bring precipatation to parts of CA. The low has not shown itself moving into California untill the following week. Stay tuned on this as more and more signs are suggesting decent snowfall for Mammoth before Christmas.

Today`s mild weather exits ahead of a some what more active weather pattern arriving tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday. Plan on strong gusty winds, some light rain then some light snowfall late afternoon, with travel and recreation impacts mainly mainly to our north. Friday we see dry quiet conditions return for the weekend. Temperatures will rise Saturday and Sunday afternoon cooling the next few days, I have to say that this El Nino is a pain in the butt. It is still pretty early, but i do not have idea when the major precip is going to kick in. I have seen these patterns hold off until the following year.
If I see anything exciting, I will let you know…
