No way against it. Its cold in Mammoth and it will stay this week at least into Sunday. Latest GFS 12z Global model height anomalies has a Cold Great Basin Low over Southern Nevada this AM, shifting east the next couple of days. Temps will come up a bit early next week.

So a cold and dry pattern will settle in through the weekend and into next week as high pressure redevelops across the region.

Expect lighter winds along with strengthening valley inversions through through the middle of next week.
