The bottom portion of the westerlies will bring “periods of” high clouds this week along with gusty winds. Temperatures will actually be a little warmer today. (mid 60s) However, the warming will be short lived as the westerlies slowly sag southward toward the weekend. It is too soon to tell if we will get any showers this weekend. However, it will most definitely be cooler and windy before hand. The new ECMWF has two good wind generators. A short wave Thursday Pm and another Friday PM. By the weekend, temps may be some 10+ degrees cooler.

Highs over the weekend will be in the 50s. With a freeze back in the forecast by Sunday.

The longer Range has changed considerable as well.  The models have back peddled on the unseasonable hot temps for the middle of May. Will take another look later this week.
