A large-scale upper Trof will remain over the west through Wednesday with several impulses coming through our area. Snow showers and a few thunderstorms are possible in the unstable air, with even 2 to 4 inches of snow that may stick to the ground Monday night into Tuesday above 7000 feet. Daytime highs will range in the mid 40s to low 50s and nighttime lows in the 20s. The upper low moves out Wednesday night and Thursday morning with upper ridging developing Thursday night into Saturday. Warmer than normal temps are expected over the weekend. A passing short wave Sunday will bring some wind and a bit of cooling Sunday into Monday.
