Mammoth Weather

It’s been the winter of the Northwest Slider so far. As we know, these are primarily cold, windy systems that descend out of the northern latitudes, bring the Pacific Northwest rain and snow, while they move inland over Northern CA, and dry out.
There is nothing that can be done about them. They will bring more of what we got in January. Shots of light snow, wind and cold. Light snow, (1-6) inches.
The timing this time of the NW sliders are this Sunday/Monday; The end of the following week and around Valentines Day.
Something to Watch For;
about the end of February/early March, the Euro long range weeklies retrogrades the long wave trof that resides east of us, off shore.
If that Varifys, that would open up the Pacific to the central west coast.
